Green Ginger Salmon Bowl

For those busy weeks when eating healthy can feel like a chore, this big green salad recipe is perfect for making a large batch and storing in the fridge. Both the salad and the dressing maintain their texture and flavour throughout the week. Switch up the protein additions, and top with tortilla chips when you need some carbs. I’m obsessed with this dressing and have made a few different variations of it.

Pueblo Spicy Cranberry Sauce

I don’t know about you but cranberry sauce has never had much appeal to me…before now. As per usual adding a little spice adds a nice layer of complexity to almost any dish. Go ahead and toss out that can of cranberry sauce that’s been in your pantry for 10 years, you will never use canned again! I used this sauce for my Chipotle Berry Pork Loin and the addition of apples to the cranberry sauce really complimented the pork dish.

Pueblo Coffee & Cacao Spicy Maple Pecans

Ok these pecans are truly to die for, my Mom has been making them for Christmas for the last few years and I cannot get enough. This year I decided to spice them up a bit further by adding some Pueblo Coffee & Cacao hot sauce into the recipes. Add these to salads, rice dishes, or just snack on them…believe me, you won’t be able to stop.

Peaches & Brie Turkey Burger with Spicy Peach Arugula Salad

A little taste of the SaskTel Instagram Live Online Cooking Class recipe I debuted this past summer. This cheesy, citrusy, and juicy recipe has quickly become one of my favourite summer classics. The peaches and feta mixed into burger keep it moist and bursting with flavour. Pair that patty with creamy brie and balsamic peaches your mouth won’t know what hit it. Pictues by @nomadicstories.

Turkey Burger with Orange Salsa

Turkey burgers are a nice alternative to beef, which tends to make me feel really full and a little sluggish. Paired with a low carb keto cheese bun and fresh orange salsa - this meal is the perfect balance of salty and sweet. The orange salsa also makes a great topping for a side of mixed greens.

Fruit Explosion Muffins

Another simple and healthy muffin recipe! For this batch I wanted to create a delicious, moist, and fruity explosion with each bite, by packing them full of raspberries and blueberries. The sweet and zesty lemon sugar on top adds a little bit of sweetness to keep you satisfied all morning long.

Keto Pork Veggie Bowl

Once you are a few weeks or maybe months into the keto diet and the thrill of cheese and bacon is starting to wear off (unlikely!), you may find yourself craving some fresh greens. Who would have thought? It turns out there is tasty ways to get your greens, fat, and protein in all at once! I like this added touch of halloumi (grilling cheese) to bring a unique texture to a classic power bowl while adding the perfect fat booster!

Pan Fried Brussel Sprouts, Bacon, & Brie

This meal is what I would define as a go-to keto recipe. The best part - is the versatility of this dish. Sick of Brussel Sprouts? Sub them out for asparagus and baby tomatoes! Turns out almost any low-carb/sugar veggies pan-fried with bacon and cheese is delicious. Not a fan of brie cheese? Use a cream cheese or shredded cheddar.
